PolandOriflame's biggest factory, with an area of 15,000 square metres and 400 employees , is located in Warsaw, Poland. The factory, which opened in October 1995, has an annual capacity of 300 million units and produces over 400 Oriflame products.The plant specialises in emulsions including alcohol containing products, although other product categories like shower gels and shampoos , mascaras and foundations are also produced here. Scale-up facility and microbiological laboratory performing challenge tests allow to validate the process of product development and its implementation in the production scale.
IndiaOriflame's plant in India opened in December 1996 and it has a capacity of 80 million units per year . 160 Oriflame products are manufactured in own facility and ca 70 products are subcontracted at approved suppliers . The plant, located in a suburb outside New Delhi, has a total area of 2,000 square metres and a highly skilled staff consisting of 90 employees. The factory makes gels, creams, shampoos and decorative cosmetics (lip glosses and mascara) and hot filled products.
SwedenIn June 2003, Oriflame bought a factory with an area of 18 000 square metres. The factory, located in Ekerö 20 kilometres outside Stockholm, is specialised in manufacturing of Personal and Hair Care products and products containing alcohol – mainly Fragrances.
The factory is highly automated and has 4 lines for filling Personal and Hair Care bottles, 4 lines for Fragrances, 2 lines for Fragrance vials and 1 line for tubes. Over 250 products are filled in the factory and the total capacity is over 100 million units.
ChinaWe opened our factory in Kunshan, 40 kilometres outside Shanghai, in December 2005. The factory has an area of 7,000 square metres and 65 employees. Today, the Chinese plant has an annual capacity of 50 million units and makes 200 products, the majority of which are in the skincare category for local and global markets. Toiletries and colour products like lipsticks, mascara and foundations are also manufactured here.
Oriflame’s first plant dedicated to Wellness production was acquired in August of 2008 and started operation in early 2009. The factory workshop covers 1500 square meters of which 1100 square meters is in full compliance with GMP classification. Presently the plant has an annual capacity of 9 million units and can produce soft capsules, hard capsules, tablets and powders enabling supply of the complete range of Oriflame Wellness products to China market.
Russia The new trading-industrial complex is Oriflame's biggest-ever investment. The modern building, with an area of 22,000 square meters, is located in the Krasnogorsk suburbs of Moscow on a 13 ha plot. The capacity of the factory will be about 100 million lipsticks, pencils and other colour products per year.
